Kyung Lee
Kyung Lee is a filmmaker and editor based in the Bay Area, California, who hails from Yokohama, Japan. Kyung’s work focuses on human needs, dreams and desires and explores our universality. She is currently working on a social practice film, “We Are Here,” along with Daniel Baum and Wild Projects’ Kim Anno.
We are Here
“We are Here” is a short film created in collaboration with Oakland’s unhoused. Individual community members turn the camera on themselves using their own voice as a tool for empowerment while providing a rare glimpse into life on the streets.
